Does Mastersoil 150 increase available nitrogen?
No — and we have withdrawn that claim. Earlier marketing material of ours said it did. Accredited laboratory data from our own programme shows mineral nitrogen lower in treated ground, not higher.
Our current working interpretation — that nitrogen is moving from the extractable mineral pool into living microbial biomass, which would reduce the leachable fraction — is scientifically coherent and consistent with our soil-biology results. It is not yet independently reviewed, and we will not market it until it is.
Is Mastersoil 150 biodegradable?
Not readily. The safety data classifies it as not readily biodegradable. The only figure we use is the CFIA-approved wording: an estimated 10–20% per year.
Will it work on my soil?
We have had positive results across a diverse set of soils. That said, every soil needs its own approach — which is why we analyse your soil together with you before recommending which products to use, and at what rate.
What application rate does Mastersoil 150 use?
The UK trials on this site were carried out at 10 kg/ha. Depending on the type of soil, the rate ranges from 10–25 kg/ha.
