A living consortium for the root zone
The manufacturer describes TerraScape Biome+ as a proprietary consortium of 21 naturally occurring, selected microbial strains carried in liquid humates. A Certificate of Composition dated 28 October 2019 identifies minimum concentrations across six named microbial species, plus more than 3% humic acids.
| Formulation group | Named organisms | Minimum specification |
|---|---|---|
| Beneficial bacteria | Azospirillum brasilense Bacillus subtilis Pseudomonas fluorescens | > 4 × 10⁷ CFU/mL > 1 × 10⁷ CFU/mL > 1 × 10⁷ CFU/mL |
| Beneficial fungi | Trichoderma harzianum Trichoderma virens Trichoderma viride | > 1 × 10⁵ CFU/mL > 1 × 10⁵ CFU/mL > 7 × 10⁵ CFU/mL |
| Humic carrier | Humic acids | > 3% |
Benefit positioning
Evidence-informed
Nutrient-use efficiency
Supports biological access to nutrients already present in the soil and rhizosphere.
Abiotic-stress tolerance
Designed to support crop function under stresses such as dry conditions.
Root-zone function
Named microbial groups are associated with nutrient cycling and rhizosphere activity.
Crop quality & output
Intended to support crop quality traits and productive performance when agronomy is suitable.
Manufacturer reference evidence
Reported reference outcomes include +18% corn yield in Michigan, +23% soybean yield in Michigan, and a 50% water saving on a Monterey golf-course application. These are manufacturer-reported examples from different crops and conditions.

Application sequence. Use a clean, calibrated field sprayer; partly fill with water; add the measured product; top up with water and maintain gentle agitation. Apply to the prepared seedbed before drilling and lightly incorporate 5–10 cm. Use the mixture promptly. Do not tank-mix with herbicides or pesticides.

Observed yield response by field
Descriptive response relative to each field control. The comparison used one treated and one control aggregate per field and does not provide harvest-level statistical significance.
| Field / measure | Control | Treated | Observed difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Croucher · wet | 26.61 t/ha | 28.56 t/ha | +7.3% |
| Croucher · dry matter | 8.54 t/ha | 9.70 t/ha | +13.6% |
| Highground · wet | 30.59 t/ha | 30.00 t/ha | −1.9% · equivalent |
| Highground · dry matter | 10.49 t/ha | 10.63 t/ha | +1.3% |
Safe use
Working guidance pending the final UK label and current SDS: wear protective gloves, coveralls and eye protection when mixing or loading; avoid breathing spray mist and avoid eye / skin contact; do not ingest; wash after handling; keep sealed and out of reach of children and animals; prevent concentrate, spray or rinse water entering drains or watercourses; contain spills; store in the original sealed container as directed by the manufacturer and protect from direct sunlight and temperature extremes.
